 Joann Mirgon
Joann Mirgon has been involved in adult education and leadership training in both school systems and business for the past 20 years. She holds a BA degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Denver. She started her career as a drug and alcohol prevention specialist in Kennett Square Middle School, in Pennsylvania. She worked with school personnel, students and parents to educate and intervene with at-risk youth. She then transferred to the business world and worked in the Human Resources and Training fields with companies such as PepsiCo and Office Depot. Since 1997, she has been the President and owner of Ashton Consulting Group providing Human Resources consulting and motivational and leadership training for schools and business.
Her primary focus is now on supporting educators in creating successful and healthy young people. For the past several years she has worked with Newman/Stecher International facilitating the three day Masonic Model Student Assistance Program nationwide. |
