Larry Newman, Chief Executive Officer

Larry has been the CEO of Newman Stecher International since 1989.  He is the author of several widely utilized programs focusing on at-risk issues.  His "Raising Drug Free Kids" parent education program is being implemented in dozens of school systems and communities across the United States.  "Classroom Management Strategies for the New Millennium" helps today's teachers work more effectively within their classrooms.

Larry has worked with over two thousand school districts in 26 states and Canada.  He also has provided on-site training and technical assistance to business and industry in the area of identifying and working with troubled employees.  He is often called upon by school districts to motivate faculty and staff to work effectively with at-risk children.

Larry combines working knowledge of the addictions field with an in-depth understanding of the educational system. He continues to provide direction and focus to schools and communities as they deal with the issues facing today's young people.

Thom Stecher, Chief Operating Officer

Thom Stecher has been COO of Newman Stecher International since its inception.  He is a nationally recognized motivational speaker and educational consultant. He specializes in student assistance program training and implementation, staff wellness and developing self-esteem.

Raised in a family of educators, Thom believes that education is a life long process. Along with Larry, he is one of the original developers of the nationally acclaimed Pennsylvania Student Assistance Program.  This program has been adopted by 26 Masonic jurisdictions within the United States and is commonly known as the Masonic Model Assistance Program.

Thom is a truly inspirational speaker who motivates and creates an atmosphere of respect and healing.
